Proudly Texan makes apparel for people who don't need reminding where they're from. Designed here, printed to order in the United States, and run by people you can actually email.
Who's behind it
Proudly Texan was started by John Hockinson. It isn't a warehouse operation or a drop-shipping side hustle with a Texas flag on it — the designs are ours, the writing is ours, and when you email the shop, you get a person rather than a ticket number.
That also means we're small enough to get things wrong occasionally. When we do, we fix it, and we'd rather you told us than quietly never came back.
How the shirts are made
Nothing is held in stock. Your item is printed after you order it, by our print partner in the United States, and shipped straight to you. Production takes 2–5 business days and delivery a further 3–7 — call it one to two weeks, with tracking the moment it leaves.
We do it that way on purpose. A small brand that buys inventory is a small brand guessing which sizes and colours will sell, and the wrong guesses end up discounted or in landfill. Making it after you buy it means nothing is wasted and we can offer far more designs than a stockroom would allow.
The trade-off is honest and worth stating: you wait a little longer, and we can't take a shirt back because the size wasn't right — it didn't exist until you ordered it. So check the sizing guide, and if you're between sizes, ask us before you buy.
If something's wrong
Damaged, misprinted, or not what you ordered: we replace it free, with nothing for you to pay and nothing to send back. Email us within 30 days with your order number and a photo. If we can't replace it, you get a full refund.

One part of the shop isn't about Texas at all. Proudly Different is our autism and ADHD acceptance collection, and it exists because of personal experience rather than because a spreadsheet said the category was growing.
